On Saturday night December 3, 2011, Dan Lauzon , 16-4 defeated Anthony Kaponis via TKO (strikes) at 1:42 of round 1 in the main event at the UMass Amherst Mullins Center in Amherst, Massachusetts.
Dan has won four straight since his departure from the UFC, with all four wins inside of two rounds. Prior to the TKO of Kaponis, Dan won the World Championship Fighting 155 pound title in the first round with a highlight reel knockout of Noah Weisman, won via TKO over highly touted prospect John Ortolani, and submitted Damien Trites with a guillotine choke early in the first round.
